Background of Workshop Trainers
Vincent Lopez is the Assistive Technology Coordinator for the Center for Independence for Individuals with Disabilities. Vincent comes from a technical and customer service background starting as a bicycle mechanic from the age of 15 Vincent has recently completed CSUN Assistive Technology Applications Certificate Program in 2017. Vincent enjoys learning how things work and finding ways to make the items "better" by thinking "outside of the box" for solutions.
Kim Saccio-Kent is an assistant professor at Skyline College in San Bruno, California. As the Assistive Computer Technologist for the Disability Resource Center, she provides one-on-one assessment and support for students as well as teaches classes on educational and assistive technologies.
