California State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD)
The California State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD) disrupts systems to make them work better – more effective, efficient, agile, and accountable – for Californians with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families. We are an independent state agency, created by federal and state law, and led by individuals with IDD and their families.
Guided by our core values of self-determination, independence, productivity, integration, inclusion, advocacy, protection, and quality of life, we challenge barriers, improve policies, and create opportunities so every person can live, work, and thrive in their own community. We work to make California the best place for individuals with IDD and their families. We do that through advocacy, capacity-building, and systems change. Our services and support are free, so cost is never a barrier to access.
California Youth Leadership Forum (YLF)
The California Youth Leadership Forum for Students with Disabilities (YLF) is a statewide leadership and self-advocacy program for high school and transition-age youth. YLF hosts a six-day statewide forum for students to learn about self-advocacy and leadership development through activities, panels, and keynote speakers in a peer-led environment. Additionally, YLF hosts regional events bringing our programming directly to students across the state.

San Mateo College Internship Program (CIP)

Project Invent
Project Invent transforms learning spaces to empower 6th-12th students as STEM innovators by inventing for social good! We support our educators with training and support throughout the year. Students have built everything from smart wallets to help the blind detect bill denominations to devices to limit carbon emissions.

Stanford Early Support Program for Autism
The Early Support Program for Autism is a collaboration between Stanford Children's Health and Children's Health Council to provide supportive services, at no cost, to families of children and adults with diagnosed or suspected autism.
These services involve:
• Clinical Care Coordinator: Helping families navigate the service systems and connect with providers in the community
• Parent Educator: Parent education in play-based strategies to build a strong parent-child relationship
The Autism and Developmental Disabilities Research Program's main aim is to better understand the basic neurobiology of autism and other developmental disorders while furthering our understanding of how genetic and environmental factors may contribute to the onset and progression of these disorders. With this aim in mind, we conduct a variety of research studies and clinical trials of novel behavioral and biological therapies in hopes of developing effective interventions for the treatment of core features of these disorders.

Wayfinders is a 2-year non-degree inclusive independent living certificate program for young adults with intellectual disabilities. Participants of Wayfinders enhance their independence by residing in student apartments, participating in work experience internships, enrolling in courses at Fresno State through Open University, and actively participating in the community.
Young STEAMers
Young STEAMers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bring STEAM opportunities to youth from low income , under-resourced families.
